Rosa and Berta live in the stork's nest, where there are many children in the morning. But in the afternoon it's pretty empty and Rosa finds that boring. (...)A car drives by on the street, a man is walking his dog and children have set up a stall in the alley behind the gate.
“Oh, I would really like to go out there. Look, Berta, there are children out there!” – “You want something, please?” asks Berta, completely indignant. “Well, I want to go out there, take a little walk, like this man there. It looks so interesting. The kids out there will definitely have something tasty to eat too!”
Berta shakes her head and runs around excitedly next to Rosa. “No, no, no, you’re not allowed to do that, absolutely not, no! This is way too dangerous!”

And indeed: one day someone leaves the door open and Rosa ventures off on an adventure...
